The Lord has really shown his power and control in this whole situation. We all thought he was probably dead and the doctors gave a very small chance, but the Lord knew better. His memory is getting decently close to normal I think, and he got to come home from the hospital yesterday, so we are definitely praising the Lord for all that. There are still a lot of things of concern, but we can trust God with all that.
If you want to read a little bit more of the details, go ahead and check out Kyle's blog: http://paladinw94.blogspot.com/
Rebecca has been a very faithful photographer this last week (during some of the happier times), and I think we ended up with around 900 pictures. I didn't have time to go through every single one, but skimmed through and picked out some. Playing against each other in Settlers of Catan on the computer.
Philip and Kyle won. Go figure.
Tom and Katie and the babies have been staying over at our house for a little over a week, which has been great fun. Here Katie is doing an extremely important job... planning the menu. ;)
Bethany and I have got to hang out a lot during this time. Her version of hanging out differs drastically from mine. Her version is having me push her on the swing. Mine is... well, anything... less involving.
Here Kyle is helping Michael fly his helicopter really high. :) You may remember seeing a picture of Michael inside of a helicopter in my last post. Well, ever since then he has been fascinated with airplanes and helicopters, and his fascination has rubbed off onto Bethany. Anytime they hear one go over, they will ask for "up" so you can take them outside to look at it. Anytime there isn't one flying over, Michael will be playing with the little toy helicopters and airplanes, like he is in this picture.
A cute picture of Rachel and Julie.
Kyle: Don't look at me... this was Timmy's idea.
Timothy: Ah, isn't this fun?!
Julie: I really wish Uncle Andrew was holding me instead!
Good Friday dinner table.
Tom got lamb meat for us all, which tasted great.
Michael accompanying Kyle and me with his one stringed ukelele. :)
You know how I said earlier that Michael spent all his spare time with helicopters and airplanes? Well, I guess that wasn't 100% true... he fits in a little time to wrestle with the boys, and tackle Kyle.

Julie and I matched! Well, sort of anyway.
As a surprise for my dad, we decided to paint and finish the remodeling on his room.
Work goes a lot faster and is more fun when you are trying to surprise someone with it.
The mostly finished product. I think this was taken before some of the decorations were put in place.
Another angle.
We finished just in time... the day before my dad got home. I think Julie got worn out from all the work. :)
A number of us from church are going to be in Georgia from the 3rd to the 14th helping out with a seminar and working with the children there. It sounds like it is going to be a whole ton of work, but it should be fun working with everybody, and Lord willing, it will impact a lot of people's lives for good. I will hopefully make a post about the trip soon after I get back.
Until next time!
