Last weekend a number of us had the pleasure of spending some time at Nacimiento Lake at a friend's cabin. They were very hospitable and we all had a great time swimming, boating, fishing, riding on the seadoos, skeeting, dirt biking... and I think that might cover it. :) Here are a few pictures from the trip...

The cabin at the lake. There are some pretty cool vehicles there.

The dock is a great place to swim from (though it was a tad cold this trip).

Swimming in the water... or more like it... trying to find the warm spots in the water. The main problem with the warm spots was that once someone found one, everyone else would rush to it and it would become a really cold spot. ;)

A group shot of some of us. We were on vacation... don't blame us for how we looked. ;)

The view from where we went skeet shooting.

I hit it! If you click on the picture you can see the skeet being hit. Awesome timing with the camera, Johnny. :)

This was my attempt to duplicate Johnny's cool looking shot. A split second late... nothing really but powder up there from Jonathan M's shot.

Justin taking out a skeet.

A cool looking lizard.

Wacky hairdo shot! ;)

Ok, I admit, that was very relaxing.

Mr Ouatu cooking hamburgers for lunch.

See, we weren't relaxing the whole time... we actually had to walk up a hill to the cabin! ;)

We're painting the caretaker's house at the church this week and next. A whole ton of prep work, repair and painting. ;)

Here Jimmy is sanding while standing in a rose bush. Looks a tad uncomfortable. ;)

Yeah, it was a tad monotonous.

Stephen and I working on the scaffold.

Richard doing his share of the work.

Kyle and I doing more scraping and sanding. This time from new heights. :)

The richter scale came in handy for determining how much the scaffold was shaking. It was a tad high up there, so you could feel every little movement. ;)

Kyle, Stephen, Jimmy and I are leaving for Alaska in a little over two weeks, but I'll try to get another post in before then. Not a promise, but I'll try. :)
